Huggies and Pullup Brands Seek Hispanic imput
Huggies and Pullups are looking for the Hispanic input to create the first
free collective book of culturally relevant parenting tips called “De Mamá a Mamá”. This initiative celebrates Hispanic family traditions and offers you the opportunity to win
prizes just for adding a tip! This book would be aimed at expecting and new Latina moms. The book would be published in April just in time for Mother’s Day and would be given away as a gift to select retail stores around the country. You can view others tips and submit your own! The sweepstakes runs through November 30, 2008 and consists of 5 grand prizes and 10 first prizes. The random drawing will be held on or around December 15, 2008. Good luck to all the Mami’s! Also, Dr Isabel Gomez-Bassols (Doctora Isabel) will be helping to compile the contribution from the fabulous Mamis. She is a renowned Hispanic radio psychologist and child rearing expert who is also a spokeswoman for Kimberly-Clark’s multi-brand initiative Madre y Mujer.

How funny!!
I guess they are doing this to combat the negative word of mouth they’ve gotten over the years as a result of Rep. James Sensenbrenner from WI – the heir to the Kimberly Clark fortune. (KC makes huggies and a heck of other products like kleenex).
Sensenbrenner (sp?) authored (or sponsored?) the HR 4437 which would have turned 11 million undocumented immigrants into felons, punished anyone guilty of providing them assistance, and constructed an iron wall between the US and Mexico.
Here in the Dominican republic, I have heard people say they don\t buy Huggies because the “owners” don’t like hispanics.
