Goodbye Summer…Hello Fall

Today is the first official day of Fall! Before you start picking your Halloween costume and telling your kids the scary tale of
La Llorona a version of Bloody Mary in Spanish-don’t forget to do those last minute things you didn’t do when it was time for Spring Cleaning.
As we get ready for fall and winter and switching our flip-flops for boots don’t forget to again make a donate pile and a throw away pile for the summer clothes that will not make back to your closet next summer. Also any last minute projects should be completed soon. We have been cleaning our basement out finally got our new front door up and slowly taking out all garbage we need to get rid of. Once the winter hits and the snow starts to fall it makes it a lot harder for us to get rid of the stuff we don’t need. That means we’re stuck with it until next spring! This goes for furniture, clothes, toys, and anything else you may think of!
If you’re into gardening right about now is a good time to clean up your garden. I’m up North so I will be cleaning up any leftover leaves from the bulbs, putting down another layer of mulch to keep them warm and planting any spring bulbs. It looks so much nicer if all your spent bulbs have been trimmed down and it makes it so much more healthier for the bulb.
