Beauty Choice Product Review!

I got a great product to review in the mail. I like to be honest but feel bad when I have to write a bad review. In this case, I loved the product!
I got a Magic Ionic Ping Digital flat iron from Beauty Choice. It’s an inch and a half wide a little small for long curly haired chicas like me but perfect when you want precision and detail especially around the face. I can’t count all the times I’ve gotten burned by a flat iron or curling iron!
When I opened the package and saw what was inside I thought this would be a great Christmas gift for my Mami and I was going to give it to her. For those newbies among us she’s a hairdresser. But after I tried it I’m definitely going to keep it to myself and here’s why!
I own a few flat irons and I keep them on my bathroom counter. So while I’m brushing my teeth and putting my make up on I have it turned on so it’s warming up. You don’t have to do that with this flat iron! It’s digital (and comes with instructions on which temp is best for what type of hair) and it’s ready to use right after plugging in! I was amazed at the amount of time it saved me!
Also it made my hair super soft. I know it was the flat iron because the rest of my beauty routine was the same and I noticed a difference. I just recently bought an Ionic Ceramic blow dryer and this compliments it very well.
So what didn’t I like about this? it came with the Chi Thermal protecting serum which I also used. It was a nice serum and a little goes a long way but the smell was a bit like cologne. I couldn’t place the cologne smell though I even asked hubby and he agreed. It was either Joop or Nautica or something like that. I would have liked if it smelled a bit more “girly”.
The Chi Infra Treatment along with the Flat iron definitely gets the Mami’s Time Out approval! I need to get a seal made! J Maybe I should play with my photoshop! But I would definitely recommend it to all my readers!
Mami’s tip: The best thing for beautiful hair is great tools. This would definitely be one to keep on your beauty list!

Wow Chica, that is cool.. I really need a new flat iron but there are so many choices out that I get confused. I was looking into the wet/dry flat iron b/c I hate blow drying then ironing my hair. Feels like it is getting more damaged.

I tend to do things old school. I think to get the curl out and minimize frizz I blowdry first then touch up with the flat iron.

@hissip: I don’t know it smells a little manly for my taste! It would be good for a man to use (if they used hair serum!)
