Cute and Functional Organization

In the last part of my Organization series I wanted to remind you that you can keep it fun and functional! Before you go to the store though make sure you know what you need. No sense in buying all this cute organizational stuff that doesn’t fit in the space you were thinking of or doesn’t go with your decor. For this kind of shopping I do recommend Target. If you go online, you can check out their storage and organization pages. They have it broken down by room, use, price whatever you have in mind! It will make it easy to figure out what you may need to spend in order to get what you want from wine racks to shoe boxes!

I hope you found the organization series a good start for you! Things that may need some organizing include:

Front door area (where you drop your mail, keys etc.
Makeup and brushes
Closets including linen closets
Kitchen and Laundry Room
CD’s and DVD’s

This is just ideas to get you going. Don’t get overwhelmed, you can just tackle one project at a time! Start with the most easiest project to motivate you to do lots more! I’ll leave you with one more tip I saw on Better Homes and Gardens…

You can use shower rings to hang your purses from the rod in your closet! This can be a huge space saver and can be hung in your closet or in your hall closet. You can always get another rod to place on the lower half of your closet and be able to hang your purses without them dragging at the bottom!
