MTV Making the Band’s Danity Kane Over

MTV has reported via their web site that Danity Kane has broken up. The Bad Girls of Bad Boy really could have had a great career. I did love songs of their last album Welcome to the Dollhouse. Of course they get extra points for the Latina Aundrea Fimbres in the group.
According to the news article, only Aundrea and Dawn showed up to the taping of this season that will be shown on Feb 12th. I’m interested to see what it’s going to look like but there were already talks that this season was going to focus mostly on Day 26. It’s sad how one person (Aubrey) can ruin it for the whole group.
There style was like no other and the vocal tricks in their songs really set them apart for me. My favorites included Bad Girl [featuring Missy Elliott] and Strip Tease. Those are constantly playing on my iPod! Sad that it didn’t work out there was so much more potential there. But Aubrey and D. Woods have already stated that they are working on solo albums. Did you watch Making the Band?

I watched this show since the beginning and I feel bad for Dawn and Andrea. Hopefully they are successful.

it’s sad that audrey feels she has so much control over the group’s career and life in general, and what i like to say for the remainder of the ladies in the group–and that’s including dee woods–lick your wounds, swallow your pride and carry on. life’s to short for the b.s. and God have blessed all 5 girls with special talents which is the makeup of DanityKane. DanityKane was a positive influence for young girls/teens/ladies. I can truly say I do not object of Mr. Combs dismissing audrey. Truly, I am glad she is gone from the group and I wish her well in her endeavors. I want to ask dee woods, have you talked or seen your girl lately. we all find out who got your back and have your best interest at hand. thanks Mr. Combs for thinking about the youth of today and setting standards for reach we should all follow, and that’s keeping ones dignity intact. Peace, stephanie

I do hope that they are successful. I feel bad for Aundrea because that’s what she wanted to do, be in the group. She didn’t want to do anything else. I loved their music. I hope they go on to do something beyond. Of course Aubrey and her craziness is not going to go anywhere.
