Leny "One" CD Review-Bachata
All in all this was a great CD. I’m assuming it’s his first since he named it One. The melodies were nice and the songs were good. But at times I felt like the CD was one long song. The songs got so similar at one point I couldn’t tell when one finished and the other started. Standouts included a song with Illegales called Sin Ti No Soy Nada. It was a great mid tempo song. Everything else was a slow Bachata. I did like Te Sigo Amando as well as his single Debil. I listenend to the entire album without skipping one song. That rarely happens!
Leny’s One CD was originally released under Universal Latino on May 3, 2008. A third generation musician, this Dominican studied the piano in one of the best schools in the country named Bellas Artes. Leny was one of the vocalists in the group Illegales where he also learned how to compose and arrange music.
