This is our second year walking for the March of Dimes. This charity walk is now known as March for Babies. For those of you who don’t know, I am the Mami of two preemies, one of whom did not make it. I am very lucky to have a son who is healthy and happy but also know the loss that many Mami’s face when having their babies prematurely. I strongly believe in this charity and hope that by the time my son becomes a father there will be treatments available so that all women can have their 9 months. Thalia as well as others are great supporters of this cause. As Latinas, we should know that we have the highest risk of having pre-term complications with our pregnancy.

This charity offers information on prevention and care and soon will have measures to be able to stop this from happening. Last year thanks to all of your support we achieved our goal and this year I’m hoping to do the same. I hope you join me again in sponsoring me for my walk for babies. I will definitely post pictures after the walk in May! I just hope it will be a better day, last year it was cold and rainy!
