Las Tontas Recap Part III

Like Blanca said, I can’t possibly be that behind on this soap opera. I’m honestly not that far behind, what I am behind is on the recaps! So I’m just going to start naming them in parts and that way we all know where I’m at. So from my last recap where Candy tells Patricio that she is alive and her son needs to be saved they go through all the steps and Patricio ends up saving Chaba and was at first upset with her because she faked her death. He went from being upset to telling her how much he still loves her. Of course her sister Alicia is having none of that and is intervening left and right. She even approached Santiago because she knows he’s got feelings for Candy to see if they can plot together to keep Patricio and Candy apart.

What I don’t get is that Patricio is being very honest with Alicia telling her that she can leave all she wants and he wouldn’t blame her. Their marriage is not legal anyway he is still technically married to Candy. Yet Alicia refuses to leave because she enjoys the status that comes with being his wife. (side note: If I was was her I would leave because I’m sorry he’s got not one but two Baby Momma’s!) So instead of leaving she is just harassing Candy left and right.

 Santiago in the meantime has agreed to marry his girlfriend who is pregnant with his child. Even though he doesn’t love her, he loves Candy. But if you think this get’s all dramatic with the whole Patricio Santiago Candy triangle it’s actually pretty funny. Santiago throws a bucket of water at Patricio while he was trying to tell Candy how much he loves her. Both Santiago and Patricio paid a mariachi band (the same mariachi band that works for Candy’s uncle’s restaurant) to serenade her. It was hilarious when they both show up thinking the band was with them.

 In her interest of keeping Patricio and Candy apart, Alicia decides to follow Candy and Santiago. She takes a picture with her cell of them kissing and shows it to Santiago’s pregnant girlfriend Marissa. I have to say, I don’t like Marissa, she is horrible with Santiago’s niece (lives with him because she’s an orphan) and his daughter as well but she’s a little more savvy with it. She’s mean with her without the little girl realizing she’s being mean. Biatch!
