Discounts on Hair at NYC Salon

I hope my NYC and Tri-State readers take advantage of this! The Ted Gibson Salon which gives the most expensive haircut in the country at $950 (that is not a typo!) is offering HUGE discounts on Tuesdays called Recessionista Tuesdays. Starting on March 10, 2009 Ted Gibson and his team will be offering cuts and color for $75 and blow outs for $40. This is about as much as my no name hairstylist charges. I feel like playing hooky from work and getting a haircut!

To celebrate this event, Ted Gibson is offering up a free makeover worth $950 to the winner of the raffle. You can enter by dropping off your business card info between 10 am and noon on Tuesday the 10th. The Ted Gibson Salon is located on 184 5th Avenue, 2nd Floor (212) 633-6333. If you get down there and get yourself a haircut let him know that Mami’s Time Out sent ya! Also don’t forget to share some pictures!

I’m just going to add my disclaimer because I don’t want to get hurt… I love my hairstylist but I would just love to go to a celebrity stylist and see what a $950 hair cut feels like!
