Las Tontas No Van Al Cielo Recap VII

Life has been getting in the way of me writing these recaps but I have definitely been keeping up with my favorite novelas. Since my last recap, Charlie’s mother called him to tell him the person that he thought he contracted HIV from was negative. I started to think that maybe the tests were wrong by some kind of miracles. (You know how novelas can be). Lucia’s HIV test came back negative so that also made me think that there was something going on with his test. But come to find out, he actually forgot about a one night stand he had while he was with Lucia. He cheated on her with some chick who was pretty loose and apparently got it from her. So he had to tell Lucia that he cheated on her just to make her feel better about that HIV test definitely being positive. Ay Dios!

The main storyline between Candi, Santiago, Alicia, Marissa and Patricio gets more and more complicated! Santiago finally realizes Marissa is crazy and in order to save his soon to be born son from her he decides to marry her and then fight for custody. Patricio moves himself into Candi’s house which is already full with her uncle and mother. It’s actually her uncle’s house! He sleeps on the couch though; she doesn’t let him sleep in her room. They seem to be acting like they are back together and I thought finally she made up her mind.

Well, Alicia tells Candi about her adoption plans and how Patricio is planning to help her. Candi gets all upset but then decides that it may be a good idea for him to help her. Santiago decides (again!) that he will not marry Marissa.

Marissa’s attempt at ruining the institute of beauty didn’t work. She took the furniture and the name, but Candi’s employees stuck by her. Together they remodeled and renamed the institute. Marissa also tried to get Candi off the magazine that she writes a monthly column for and off the radio station, both of which are owned by her brother. He always does her bidding but money talks and he said both the radio show and the column are a success and he refuses to take her off.

Candi, while being with Patricio, decides that she is not in love with him and that she is in love with Santiago. Santiago is having this huge party for Lucia and Candi’s whole family is invited but she didn’t invite Patricio. I thought that was so messed up. He looked so hurt. She was too mean too him I thought. She basically told him he had to leave the house and that she didn’t love him. After all that back and forth my goodness!

She was hanging out a lot with Santiago, he is a real sweetheart. He took her on a surprise flight to the capital to play at the stadium of her favorite soccer team and had her favorite goalie on hand to help her make a goal. Apparently that was one of her dreams to play in the Aztec stadium. They looked like they were having such a great time. I figured she was going to make the decision to stick with him and not Patricio. I wonder what’s going to happen to Marissa and Alicia’s plan of adopting that baby. Just when you think you have the story figured out it switches around on you!
