Las Tontas No Van Al Cielo Recap VIII

So I am catching up on my favorite novela just to find out that it’s going to be ending in a few weeks! I thought that was a bit fast. But since I am currently in school I will definitely only watch one at a time. I’m thinking Cuidado Con El Angel is not too far behind. It started a few months prior and it just seems like it’s wrapping up.

Well on Las Tontas, Candi and Santiago got engaged in Puerto Vallarta. Not sure when they are getting married because Patricio still hasn’t filed for divorce like they agreed to. Santiago’s ex is also livid about the news and tries to break them up. She pays a previous patient of (her lover that she cheated on Santiago with and Santiago’s friend) to tell Candi that Santiago was the one who left her deformed after a cosmetic surgery procedure and not . Now Candi is torn because if she goes to Santiago with the news he’s going to think she doesn’t trust in him but she can’t get the lady out of her mind.

In other news, Patricio’s father has some drama going on. Besides going after Candi’s mother he is in deep with some Mafia dealings. The Mafia king’s father happen to visit Santiago’s friend for a cosmetic procedure to change his face which he also botched. He killed him and ran off to New York to escape the Mafia and Santiago’s ex left to go with him. We also find out that Santiago’s daughter that she left him with is not really his daughter but his friend’s daughter! All I have to say is what a biatch! Santiago’s mother knows everything but she’s got her threatened and can’t say anything to Santiago.

Also, Candi’s sister Alicia adopted her baby (which is really Santiago and Marisa’s baby) and is using the baby to try to get Patricio back. Patricio has already fallen in love with the baby but hasn’t had a change of heart towards Alicia. Alicia runs into Santiago at a park all the kids are playing in and asks if he wants to hold the baby. I thought that was so mean. Biatch!

Candi got a whole makeover while she was down in Puerto Vallarta. She came back all tan and with a different set of clothes and hairdo. What do you think about her makeover? I thought that the way she looked prior was perfect and went with her squeaky clean image. Right now she looks like just another novela actress I think the hair is too much as well as the tan and clothes. Not to mention the makeup. I was a bit disappointed in it. Waiting to see how she’s going to carry that off for the rest of the novela. I’m going to say it’s going to last another 6 weeks tops. What do you guys think? How do you think the novela is going to end will she stay with Patricio or Santiago? Right now her son is not too happy with the fact that she’s with Santiago because he’s not his father. Thoughts?
