Time to shape up for the hot summer days…

The summer is officially here and we are looking to be “bikini ready” pronto. So, I’ve been going to the gym- doing a little kickboxing and a toning class with weights. However, making time to get fit is a mission in itself. But, I’m pushing myself to workout at least twice a week and try different classes while I’m at it. The other day I took a hip hop class, and let me tell you that I completely underestimated the power of dancing! I walked out of that class drenched…yet feeling absolutely fabulosa! Tell me, how are you preparing for the sunny, hot summer days. Are you working out, taking your children to the park, or dancing salsa with the hubby?I think this week, I’ll give Zumba a try. What works for you? Anyone want to try Zumba?

Just to clarify, I meant Zumba classes…has anyone taken them? If so, would you recommend to a friend?

I would love to take zumba! After my kickball is over I may look into some Zumba. I need to motivate a friend to go with me.

I hear you!! I have good weeks where I do several classes and some cardio, then there are the weeks where I am lucky to just do the cardio. Keep up the good work!!

I think we just have to tell ourselves that we need to exercise- it’s all about our health!
