Recap of Un Gancho Al Corazon II

The second week of Un Gancho seemed just as cute as the first. Mauricio gave Daniela his youngest adopted daughter, a surprise birthday party. He also invited the luchador that Daniela loved when they went to see him in person. Just that who actually fought that fight was Monita, not her boyfriend Beto like he was supposed to. He was having stomach problems and was in the bathroom all night. I’m saying, I like this dude less and less! What a dead beat! Then he gambles the rent. And he stinks. Literally. Why is she with him?

Anyway, his stinky behind is after Mauricio’s girlfriend Constanza. After bumping into each other he finds her wallet on the floor and calls her to return it. He gets all cute to go meet her and return it. Obviously she wants nothing to do with him because he’s ghetto and she’s a little rich girl.

Mauricio’s cousin Jeronimo paid some armed robbers to come to Mauricio’s business and rob them so that he can pay back his loan shark. The loan shark has already beat him up numerous times and has threatened to kill him. The robbers even steal a necklace off the neck of one of the secretaries. He ends up going to Beto’s house and gambles it away to him. Beto then tries calling Constanza to meet up with her again and plans to give her that necklace. Instead Monita bumps into him and sees the necklace. Of course she thought it was for her and he had no choice but to put it on. So the secretary sees the necklace around her neck and is convinced Monita is the one that had something to do with the robbery.

It is very clear (even to Constanza) that Monita and Mauricio like each other. There was one funny scene where Monita met up with Mauricio at a gala event he was with Constanza at because she needed him to sign some papers. They went into an office so that he can sign them and the papers fell. Monita bent to pick them up and from the camera’s perspective it looked like she was doing a little something to Mauricio. Constanza ended up walking in at that precise moment and was livid! He tried to tell her nothing was going on but she didn’t believe him.

So this week Mauricio finds out that Monita has a boyfriend and he doesn’t look too happy about it. He got into a huge argument with Constanza about Monita and she gave him an ultimatum but he wasn’t having it. Monita quit in order to avoid that but he went to her house to find her and told her he needed her. Ok? But you have a girlfriend? Men! lol!
