On My Shopping List: Larimar Stone Jewelry

I have been Ebaying a little too much lately. Is Ebaying a word? Lol. Well whatever it’s called when you shop too much on Ebay I’ve been doing it! My latest shopping has involved a Dominican stone called Larimar. I love the color it’s similar to a turquoise but lighter. This stone is found in the caves along Barahona around where my family is from. Barahona is on the western side of the country. It’s a beautiful blue stone and I went ahead and bought myself a bracelet and pendant to match! It looks handmade it’s so beautiful! What do you think about the Larimar? I’m a bit ashamed that I kind of stumbled on it and my family lives close to those caves!
