Un Gancho Al Corazon Recap III

I’m honestly not sure why I’m watching this novela. I do like Danny Garcia. But her character, la Monita is constantly lying. I’m not sure what the reason is that she’s lying to her Mauricio about El Beto being her brother. Anyone have input on this? What’s the big deal about Mauricio knowing that Beto is her boyfriend? She lied and told him that her boyfriend is her trainer which is an old married man. That lie got him in trouble with his wife which got him upset with Monita.

One character I do not like is Beto. He doesn’t like to shower (ew) doesn’t like to work but is now working at the same company with Monita. He was a driver then security. But he was over the top with the security so he got demoted to janitorial staff. Now Beto is really feeling Mauricio’s on again off again girlfriend Constanza. She also is feeling him but pretends she doesn’t. It’s actually kind of gross for me to see them together. So to recap:

Mauricio and Contanza are off and on

Mauricio and Monita like each other

Beto and Contanza like each other

Seriously it doesn’t get any more complicated than that. Try explaining that one to hubby. He just gives up and walks away.

Another lie Monita is giving is about boxing. She won’t let Mauricio know that she is a boxer. Again, why? I just don’t get it. She did break up with Beto for a while but then just took him back after she got mad at Mauricio. I’m just so confused about this whole lying thing! It’s really starting to irk me.

I do love Jimena and her quest into learning more about the hood. She has befriended Monita and her friends and likes to hang in her neighborhood instead of hanging out with Constanza.

I also love Contanza’s outfits. I really need to work on getting another copycat outfit from Fashion Grail. Contanza’s outfits are very ladylike and trendy but not over the top. It’s perfect for her character and if I was a rich girl I’d wear exactly that! Lol
