Latinos on TV: Sofia Vergara

There is a new show on ABC this fall I am excited about. It’s called Modern Family and it follows three different families, a family of three, a mismatched family (Sofia Vergara and Ed O’Neil) and a gay couple that just adopted a child. If Ed O’Neil sounds familiar to you he played Al on Married…With Children. He reminds me of one of my tios. I’m glad that ABC is really catching on with adding Latinos to the Prime Time line up. First Gaby on Desperate Housewives , Ugly Betty , and now another Latina on TV, Sofia Vergara. I hope the show has a great opening! It airs Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at 9Pm on ABC. Set your DVRs and don’t miss it!
