Un Gancho Al Corazon Recap IV

UN_GAN~1 Since my last recap things are pretty much the same. Mauricio and Monita fight, break up with Beto and Constanza to get together. Then some miscommunication happens and they fight again and start all over. Constanza was *thisclose* to getting Mauricio to marry her so that he can keep custody of the kids but that didn’t happen. She even hired a wedding planner to help her plan everything which happened to be gay. This is obvious to everyone except for Jimena who falls for him and says that she can change him. I really doubt that. But suprisingly her brother Geronimo and his BFF are helping her change him. Not sure what’s in it for them though.

In the meantime, Monita’s mother appears out of nowhere and we find that Nieves (Beto’s Mother) knew all about Monita’s mother and kept that secret. All along she’s been plotting with Constanza too to keep Mauricio and Monita apart. Nieves is dying for Monita to marry her son Beto and even though she knows he’s messing around with Constanza, Nieves is cool with it and even helps Constanza in and out of the house so that she doesn’t get caught. It’s so shady because she gets mad about Monita and Mauricio and even made up stories to try and keep them apart.

Mauricio and Beto actually had a "lucha libre" or wrestling fight (as in WWE not the other type of wrestling). The winner get to stay with Monita. They both refused to give up and Monita finds out during the fight that she was supposed to be the prize so she gets mad and knocks them both out.

Honestly, I’m not in love with this novela. The back and forth is killing me. I think I’m watching just because I’ve been watching since the beginning. But since Sortilegio started, I’m just not sure if I’m going to continue watching Un Gancho. How about you guys? What do you think so far about Un Gancho?
