Do Makeup Brushes Make a Difference? (plus Poll!)

What do you think? Professional makeup artists swear by it. A lot of women are afraid of brushes thinking there is a technique that you must master or think the cheapie brushes included with their makeup is enough. I think the best application is with makeup brushes but you do need to know which to use. I am a faithful liquid foundation chica, and I use a foundation brush. I feel like an artist painting and it allows you to get precise, even coverage. If you use liquid foundation this is a must. I also have a blush brush and a few eye shadow brushes: an angled one, a blending one and a regular one. You also don’t have to spend crazy amount of money for brushes. ELF cosmetics has brushes for as low as one dollar! Not only are they cheap but they last a really long time!

Now, it is necessary to clean your brushes on a weekly basis in order to keep your face from breaking out. I like to use my son’s Johnson and Johnson baby wash in order to clean them. You can get a sample size (if you don’t have any kids) for around a dollar as well!
