Product Review: Maybelline Color Sensational

I just wanted to share that I bought this product with my own money and am in no way being compensated by Maybelline or any affiliates for this review, or any review I do for that matter.

mayb I saw the ad for Maybelline Color Sensational in this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine. I thought the colors were gorgeous and I am all about the new trend for neutrals. I am a lip gloss girl all the way but from time to time I’d like to think I’m a bit more grown up and try a lipstick. I’m almost hitting 30 and sometimes I just think lip gloss is for teens.

Armed with my new dark hair I go for something to compliment a bit better. Just so you know, when you go light to dark or vice versa, you may need to change your makeup to compliment your new look. Sometimes the same go to lip gloss or lip stick may not look as fab on you as it did when your hair was lighter or darker. I grab the Color Sensational in Sugar Honey. It’s a pink neutral great for darker lips and looks awesome against my skin and jet-black hair. You may need a lip liner with this one though. This is my fave drug store brand lip stick since my middle school days! If you haven’t picked it up you should. Check out the shade finder in the Maybelline site if you’re not sure what you’d like. Sugared Honey is my next go to lip color! And for less than $10 ($7.49) it’s definitely affordable!
