Product Review: Revlon Creme Gloss

I just wanted to share that I purchased this product with my own money and have been in no way compensated for the product or review by Revlon or any of its affiliates. I in no way get compensated for any of my product reviews.

P-CremeGloss-lg I tend to think from time to time that lip gloss is a bit high school and since I’m hitting my "last twenty" soon (29) I should maybe start thinking of making the move to lip stick. It just seems so frightening and vieja to me though! I thought that Revlon’s new Creme Gloss would be a great alternative for me. Sad to say I hate it!! Here’s why:

1. The packaging is not cute. I hate the clicking to get it to the brush so that I can apply it.
2. This one may be my fault. I hated the color. It didn’t look like me at all.
3. I don’t like the consistency. I do love lip gloss like the next girl, but I like it a bit thicker. This Creme Gloss seemed very thin and just seemed like it would come right off. I hated the way it looked on my lips. Kind of goopy. YUCK!
4. The price was my least favorite. Really $9.99 for this? I can get a better product for less than half the price. Or I rather spend a few bucks more for MAC and get a better product. Definite pass for me! Have you tried Revlon Creme Gloss? What do you think?
