Olive Oil and Mayo for Dry Hair
Did you read that right? Yup sometimes you can just look in your kitchen to find what you need to help you tackle that dry hair. Olive Oil and mayo is an excellent moisturizing treatment for your hair and scalp. Here are some tricks from stylists Josh Rosebrook and Robear Landeros at LA Based salon The Parlour on 3rd.
How to make an Olive Oil moisturizing treatment.
Take 1/4 cup olive oil and pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Part your hair into four sections and apply the warm olive oil to your scalp section by section. Make sure to work the olive oil from the scalp to the ends of your hair.
Put a plastic cap on your hair and let the olive oil work its magic for 30 minutes.
Remove the cap. Shampoo condition and style your hair as usual.
How to make a Healthy Hair Mask
For best results, stick with an organic brand of mayo. Place a plastic bag over your hair after you apply. Leavie it on for 30 minutes. If you don’t mind smelling like a ham sandwich, the results are worth it!

I am dreaming of a cruise or a getaway vacation to the Dominican Republic. I’ve been talking about going to see my family for months! So this post is inspired by my desire for a nice vacay. She did make an order and said it took a while for it to be delivered, possibly held up in customs since the company may be in Canada. For $39.97 and a few colors to choose from, this shoe is definitely a deal! I haven’t put my order in yet, there are so many shoes to choose from!
A cheap yet stunning way to showcase your makeup brushes
I was reading one of the many magazines I read on a daily basis. This time I was at Chicago’s Midway Airport waiting for my return flight home from a business trip. While scanning one of the piles of magazines I brought, I stumbled upon this cool way to showcase your makeup brushes. My version is better because it’s way cheaper at $2! The difference is that the magazine told you to go to a pet store and buy a small fishbowl and some fish tank rocks. That can cost you over $10. I went to the dollar store and got a cool looking vase and a bag of rocks for two dollars. I also bought a tall can of fish tank rocks that I didn’t use. I like the stone look (and it looks gre
at in my bathroom) but I think it’s taking up too much space. I also bought a vase that might be too small for my collection but was thinking of space saving. So keep that in mind when you go shopping for your vase….space saving vs room for your makeup brush collection to grow. I like that it keeps all your brushes in view so you can grab what you want without searching for it in a makeup bag. At least that’s what I used to do. What do you think about my cheap idea? Un Gancho Al Corazon Recap V

So this is the recap for January 19 I know I am a day (or two!) behind but bear with me I can’t figure out how to write posts remotely from email. That would be the only way to get you guys your telenovela fix! Ok so here goes….
In order to keep Constanza from finding out who Furia Enmascarada really is, Beto and Mauricio changed places. At the same time Monita and her friends hatched up a plan to get Mauricio out of the ring in case the wrestlers do get the mask off.
Jimena and her hubby are still together and he’s being a sweetheart with her. I think his brother is starting to like her. I mean like, like her like her. 
Jimena also gave some pretty good advice to Constanza’s younger sister about boys but she took it the wrong way. Constanza’s sister grabbed some of Constanza’s lingeries and tried to seduce Aldo. Looks like she was going to get her way but then she changed her mind last minute. Just nuts. As a mom I wasn’t too happy about that. Funny how your perspective changes when you become a mami!
Most of the novela was based on the wrestlers and the ring. In case I’m missing anything feel free to jump in. Also…check out youtube to find episodes of Un Gancho. Just in case you don’t have a DVR or VCR handy!
