Mother’s Day is sneaking up on us quickly! For those who still have some shopping to do, listen up and take notes! Last week I ran a giveaway post for Jennifer Lopez’s latest perfume, JLust. As an option to enter the giveaway, I asked Mami’s Time Out readers what would be the best gift for Mother’s Day. Twenty responses later and there’s definitely a theme going here. I think you can’t go wrong with any of these gift ideas!
My favorite Mother’s Day gift is just going out to dinner so I don’t have to cook.

My favorite Mother’s Day gifts are the handmade cards my daughters make me each year.
My favorite were the homemade gifts that my kids would make when they were little. Nothing more special than when they made those items out of love. I have a picture frame, a small jewelry box and some vases that they had made.

Well most of us can’t have a child on Mother’s Day (unless you are due around that time, then congrats!!) But the ideas of dinner, homemade gifts, flowers or chocolate would be great for the mom in your life.
We usually go to the Lilac Festival here in Rochester for Mother’s Day (It’s one of the biggest festivals in the area) and maybe dinner. Brunch is huge here and I do not like crowds. I look forward to checking out the vendors selling fun jewelry and other gifts. And of course…..kettle corn!! This is what dreams are made of!
Do you have any Mother’s Day traditions?
