Joanna Gaines Slays Comfy Chic!

I was watching Chip and Joanna Gaines on HGTV  one Sunday afternoon while writing blog posts when it hit me how cute Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper tends to dress! She is the epitome of “busy mom” being a mom of four kids plus a show and many other business ventures. As busy as she is, she still finds the time to look super cute.

This past summer I wrote a post on Shay Mitchell and how she makes comfy chic look good, but Joanna will be taking us through the fall and winter. I absolutely love Joanna Gaines wardrobe!

She’s got some key pieces in her wardrobe:

She loves jeans, denim vests, chambray shirts.

She loves flat boots that look a bit lived in. Which makes sense being on the farm and around construction!

She loves to  layer her sweatshirts with long cardis, or leather jackets

She adds hoop earrings or studs to her favorite outfits.

Whether it’s open toed sandals or booties, she loves a good low to mid heel wedge.

I haven’t been wearing any skirts during fall and winter. This picture reminds me that I can keep wearing my summer favorites well into the fall if I just put on one of my favorite pair of tights with them!

A relaxed tee and jeans get an upgrade with a great leather jacket! There are those flat boots again! This outfit would be great for brunch and garage saleing after! I know that’s not a word, but in my world going to garage sales is a verb. I have a jacket on my list of things to purchase this fall I love the color of this one.

A soft pink sweater layered under a white tee underneath looks great with jeans and taupe booties. These jeans don’t look like skinny jeans to me, maybe a slim boyfriend? I love boyfriend jeans!

I love the cardigan with the skirt and tall boots. This is great for work or your upcoming family holiday events. I love skirts more than pants and this makes me want to keep wearing my favorite skirts and dresses all fall. At least until it snows!
