It’s no secret I’m a makeup junkie. I’ve packed away two plastic totes full of makeup and it was so hard to pair down to one small basket. But if I wanted my house to sell these were the types of things I had to put away. I just didn’t realize how much I had! But this is what made the great makeup edit. My must haves that I can’t live without. Yes I said live.
Maybelline BB Cream primer in Med/Dark.
I use this as a primer under my foundation. It’s also great alone. I still get breakouts and this BB Cream helps my skin clear up quick. I find it dries out my pimples faster than treating it with spot treatment on its own. Plus I love that you can wear it on its own.
BareMinerals Ready Foundation in 330
I’m hearing through the grapevine that they might be discontinuing this. I’m going to have to purchase like 10 to get me by. This gives me the perfect finish, coverage and it’s my exact color. It’s a perfect color match. I’ve tried (and own) the other foundations by BareMinerals. This is by far my favorite.
I love palettes, especially one like this that has a day to night look that includes blush highlighter and bronzer in one!
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette
It’s the perfect every day palette and it smells just like chocolate! The pans are heart shaped too, so cute!
Naked 3 Palette
This is the perfect day to night palette. Makeup junkies everywhere are obsessed with this one for a reason. I got this for Christmas and I can’t put it down!
Don’t ask me how many lipsticks I kept because I pretty much kept all of it out. A girl needs options. And don’t ask me how many I’m carrying with me. This is a real problem. I did keep out blushes from NYX MAC and Physicians Formula that I’m hoping to use down to hitting pan. I made sure that all my picks were able to fit in the basket I’m keeping out in the bathroom without overflowing. I know I’m a makeup junkie but I don’t want to scare potential buyers because of my insane collection!
I also have a small roller cart in the bathroom still full of baskets of makeup. Which means in the next few weeks I’m going to have to pack all this stuff away. But I have so many ideas on my makeup room in the next house I can’t wait to show you the before and what I end up with after the fact! I’m finally getting an office/makeup room and it’s so pretty in my head. I hope I can make it a reality without blowing the budget!
Are you a makeup junkie? If you had to pack everything away, what would you keep?
