My telenovela ended!

My telenovela “Al Diablo Con Los Guapos” ended on Friday. It was a two hour event. I know I have mentioned in the past about how there’s always a wedding at the end of every telenovela and hubby wonders why I watch them knowing that it’s ending the same way. But this one had a twist to it.
Three couples got married and it was a beautiful wedding. Everything was tied together and there were no loose strings. But it didn’t finish there. It just kept going. Flash forward 5 years later and they are playing with their kids. Then flash forward another ten years after that, fifteen after that and it just kept going until their kids got married, and their kids had kids and they became grandparents. Then their parents started dying off. That’s when it started to get depressing. Everyone died until the main couple got old themselves and died together on the beach. Then it said something like their love will last eternally and the end.

Ok, I commend them for trying to be different but seriously when I turned the TV off I was so depressed!! I think I’ll stick to my happily ever after. The new telenovela that is taking its place looks a little similar but I will give it a chance and watch.

What Am I Going To Do Now?

My world is over!! No really! Seriously. Ok not really. Just being overly dramatic right now. I was googling my telenovela because I was looking for a picture of the main actress who’s new haircut I’m in love with. It’s long layers and I just want her hair. I’m sure it’s a weave but I’m trying to let my hair grow out so I can get that look. It’s so grown up and sexy. Anyway I stumble on a picture of her (Millie) and Alejandro (the main actor) kissing and she’s wearing a wedding dress. Well they just finished filming yesterday and now it’s obvious they get married. Which was what my hubby pointed out anyway. I’m just wondering how they are going to get there because right now Alejandro married that girl that came in the picture and three years passed by (on Friday) they were living in Europe but they just returned and she’s come back pregnant. And during that time Millie finds out her and Alejandro do not have the same father so she was ready to tell him but when she saw his wife was pregnant she didn’t want to destroy his family. So now she’s marrying his cousin Hugo who she was going to marry in the first place. Well…as I sit here crying…. here’s the picture I found. (Maybe I’m getting all this drama from the soaps!)

Quick Telenovela Update

Just a quick note to update on my current telenovela. Got to love the drama. This is what I wrote previously if you want to catch up: I’m currently watching “Al Diablo Con Los Guapos” which means “To Hell with the Hotties” It’s pretty catchy when you say it that way. It’s beyond complicated. The orphan girl raised by a convent was hired by this affluent family to be a maid in the house. Come to find out she’s the niece of the butler and her mom was also a maid in that house who fell in love with the man who is now the head of the house so in turn that is her father. She does not know that’s her father. But the priest at the convent knows and is bound by secrecy. Her uncle the butler also knows and protects her from the evil wench of the wife who also knows the secret but noone has told her that’s her father.
Now, history is repeating itself: she’s fallen in love with the son. But wait! You’re thinking ew that’s her brother!!! Turns out the woman her father married had that child with someone else out of wedlock but he gave him his last name to keep up appearances. So his son doesn’t even know that’s not his father. Basically I’m waiting for everyone to find out all the secrets and how that’s going to turn out! Talk about complicated huh?

Well now….her grandmother adopted her as her daughter and made her the universal heir. Now grandma didn’t know she was the grandchild she’s been looking for for years. Millie is the name of the heir/grandchild. Grandma has ended up in the hospital and through all this Millie has found out the truth of who’s her father. The evil wench of her father’s wife told her minutes before marrying Alejandro which is the guy she loves that is not her brother. Of course the wench made her think that is her brother and their love can’t be. She also begged Millie not to tell Alejandro anything. She also found out her father knew about her the whole time. Grandma has died but not before Millie telling her the truth and then Millie has now vowed vengeance against her father. The priest is aware of all this but gets threatened by the evil wench not to say a word. It’s interesting what’s going to happen because Millie has been left with all of her grandmother’s fortune. Which means the son the evil wench has been “protecting” has been left with nothing. So the tables have turned.
