MTV Making the Band’s Danity Kane Over

I have to say I loved watching Making the Band when they were picking Danity Kane. It was a great show to watch and I loved to sit and wait for the drama to unfold.

MTV has reported via their web site that Danity Kane has broken up. The Bad Girls of Bad Boy really could have had a great career. I did love songs of their last album Welcome to the Dollhouse. Of course they get extra points for the Latina Aundrea Fimbres in the group.

According to the news article, only Aundrea and Dawn showed up to the taping of this season that will be shown on Feb 12th. I’m interested to see what it’s going to look like but there were already talks that this season was going to focus mostly on Day 26. It’s sad how one person (Aubrey) can ruin it for the whole group.

There style was like no other and the vocal tricks in their songs really set them apart for me. My favorites included Bad Girl [featuring Missy Elliott] and Strip Tease. Those are constantly playing on my iPod! Sad that it didn’t work out there was so much more potential there. But Aubrey and D. Woods have already stated that they are working on solo albums.
