What is your cosmetic organizer?

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

What do you use to organize your cosmetics? I like to have my things organized but also keep it within reach because I’m not much of a morning person. I like to have my makeup there ready for me and not have to search for things all morning. So I keep two different storage solutions for my makeup. One that is basically a travel bag you put all your toiletries in. I have all my makeup in there organized by type of makeup (all lip glosses together, all eye shadows together and so on).

I do keep my everyday makeup which would be foundation and my brushes in the bathroom along with some eye shadow choices in the bathroom to use. But I do like to keep it out of the way and with not a lot of counter space I need to maximize the little bit I got. Check out this storage compartment I found on walmart.com for less than $20. You can’t find it at the store but with free shipping site to store it’s like getting it at your local Wal-Mart. You can store your eye shadows, lip glosses and mascara up top and brushes in the drawer. The only downside to this is that it’s white and I can totally see it getting dirty with makeup remnants don’t you? There’s always a can of spray paint though to give it a custom look! There are so many different colors and looks available you can match it to any décor whether you plan to keep it in your bedroom or your bathroom.

I have used the site to store feature before when I couldn’t find something I wanted at the store and I had a great experience. I didn’t pay any shipping fees and I bought a whole nursery set imagine if I did have to pay shipping on that! I paid for everything online and then I went to the store to pick it up it was so facil! Now putting all that together was a different story!

Do you use anything specific to store your cosmetics? Please share!

Some Beauty Questions to Answer

What beauty product won’t you leave your house without? As far as makeup goes what product will you not be caught dead without? I think my product choice would be lip gloss. I think it instantly lights up my face. I know I can’t even go to the grocery store without my lip gloss! Eye shadow is a sometimes thing I don’t wear it daily. Mascara is also a must for me. So what are your must haves?

I am thinking of ways to update my look especially for work so I would love to hear your suggestions as well. I’d like to try to move into lipstick maybe layering it with lip gloss if anyone has any lipstick favorites (brands or colors) feel free to comment with your choices! You ladies know I like Sephora, MAC and Benefit. I’ve been itching to try some of Benefits lipsticks they’ve got some beautiful shades! I don’t know how the color payoff would be or if it’s longwearing. Thoughts!

Benefit Cosmetics Holiday Gift Guide

Benefit Cosmetics LLCBenefit Cosmetics has got a holiday gift guide for you! This very handy guide can help you pick some beauty gifts out to your familia y amigas. You can shop by theme (stocking stuffers, top sellers, party pleasers) or you can shop by price (gifts under $20, $20-$30, $30-$40 and over $40) and you can even pick a gift that’s wrapped and ready to go. You can also sign up for their email updates or you can request a catalog. Check it out! There may be something for all the gorgeous gals on your list!

While wandering around the website I saw that there are lots of gifts to choose from in the under $20 from makeup tools to mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow and lipstick. I must say I love Benefit for their clever packaging but their makeup always felt like it was for the more intermediate makeup wearer to me. You know what I’m saying? But I found this:and I may just put it on my wish list. It’s called Primpcess and it includes concealing, contouring brushes the famous Badgal mascara and it also has a step by step instruction included so you can get stunning eyes!

Speaking of stunning eyes, BadGal mascara also comes in Plum! I think this would be a great look for the olive skinned brown eyed Latina. It would definitely bring out your brown eyes and it would be a bit more daring than wearing black. But I think it would still be definitely suitable for work. It’s under $20! What do you think about this one?
