Song Review Tony Dize Solos

tony I love Tony Dize he’s the romantic in reggeaton. I love romantic songs with a nice beat. Tony Dize has such a smooth voice and his new song Solos Ft Plan B does not disappoint. I’ve had some good luck with new music lately. I’ve liked everything I’ve heard! That doesn’t happen much. It’s a very slow and smooth groove and I love the way Plan B sounds. It’s different but sounds a bit retro and early 90’s to me. The game effects are cute too. Solos Feat. Plan B is definitely a download! And also check out Tony Dize’s album La Melodia De La Calle. I do prefer the update ‘do compared to the braids on his last album! Just wish we can get a full view of his face on his album covers!

Extra Tony Dize song…oldie but goodie Quizas off of the Los Vaqueros album. "Tu en mi buscas venganzas yo a ti busco un sueno" Quizas amasta a que no debiste amar." Excuse me while I swoooooonnnn! ;)

Franco El Gorila Ft Yandel: Sexo Seguro

Franco El Gorila is part of the whole Wisin Y Yandel camp. You may have heard him on albums like WYY’s Los Vaqueros or the more recent La Mente Maestra. Ok so the title is a little over the top but the melody is hot! Franco El Gorila has a gruff voice and raps on this great beat alongside Yandel’s smooth singing. It’s hot! You can preview and purchase Sexo Seguro for 99 cents or purchase the entire album Welcome To The Jungle here for 7.99. In the meantime I leave you with one of my favorite songs Noche De Entierro (Nuestro Amor) (at this point I think they are all my favorite!)  with Wisin Y Yandel, Hector El Father and Daddy Yankee. Enjoy!

Bilingual Music

Since it is still Hispanic Heritage Month and you know I love my Latin music I’m going to share some of my favorites that are bilingual. The post about Unique inspired me. Here goes: Your Body this is off his Perfect Melody CD. I love this song. “Girl your body’s on fire. Oh oh. You’re my desire….oh oh” ok I’ll stop singing.
Daddy Yankee ft Akon: Bring it on. This is a cool hip-hop type of track with some reggaeton influenced. Yea you got it right; it’s not the other way around. :P This is off of his

El Cartel: The Big Boss CD.

Daddy Yankee ft. Paul Wall: Machete Remix. Seriously this song is hot. Party banger. DY’s rapid fire delivery is just incredibly sexy to me. Enough said. This is off the Barrio Fino en Directo CD.

Kat De Luna ft. Busta Rhymes: Run the Show . I love the line “You know you love this Dominicana.” You know you do!
Alexis Y Fido: Go Go Girls. This is another club banger.
I love reggeaton because of the infusion of all the other genres. You don’t know what you’re going to hear next on a mixed Reggaeton CD. It could be merengue, salsa, bachata, R&B, hiphop, if it’s urban it’s in there. It can be raunchy, sexy, romantic, gangster…it’s so bi-polar. And I love it!
Do you have any to add to this list? Do you agree or disagree with any of these bilingual songs? Do you even like/heard of Reggaeton? Do share!

Do you like Wisin & Yandel?

Do you like Wisin & Yandel? They are definitely in tie for first place with Daddy Yankee. You already know DY is my man! Anyway, WYY are a little more romantic with it than DY is and if you like that reggaeton feeling you’ll love Tony Dize. I love his voice and his songs are beautiful! Of course a little raunchy at times but you expect that with reggaeton. Have you heard of this new artist? His first album dropped a while ago. I love the title of it: La Melodia De La Calle (The Melody of the Streets). He was also featured in Los Vaqueros CD that WYY dropped a while back. Check him out he’s hot! I definitely think the album title is a good description of how he sings.

I found something else I wanted to share. Daddy Yankee’s record breaking debut in his movie “Talento De Barrio” was a sell out in Puerto Rico. I would love to see this movie! I’d just drool over that hottie. There’s a soundtrack released for this album and iTunes has it for 7.99 which I think is a deal. It includes his song “Pose” and if you haven’t heard it you really need to get to your closest radio and pronto! It’s a pretty good song a great dance track. Something a little different from him a little 80’s. but to me he can’t do wrong! Here’s the link it will take you right to it! You can download the whole album or a song at a time for 99 cents. If you do download it let me know what you think!
