Aaah the new year. This is the time where everyone runs to the nearest gym. And hey, new year, new beginnings right? But before you jump on that treadmill here are some beauty tips and products you need to keep staying beautiful while working out those holiday pounds.
Beauty tip number 1.
Don’t wear makeup to the gym. Seriously. Don’t. The gym regulars will see right through you. You want to meet a man? The gym is not the place to glam up and be seen. Trust me. Dude is not even going to be looking at you he’s too busy lifting weights. Unless he’s that skeevy looking dude. And you don’t want a skeevy looking dude. So basically, unless you want a skeevy looking dude all up in your business, don’t wear makeup to the gym. Instead grab some makeup removing wipes like Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, Refill Pack, 25 Count to keep in your gym bag to use after your workout. It will keep your skin from breaking out from all the sweat and dirt. Comes in handy.
Beauty tip number 2.
Did you just get your hair done? Don’t skimp on going to the gym because you don’t want to ruin your fresh blowout. Instead grab Dri Edge Woman’s Sweatband. For only $3.99 at Sally Beauty Supply, you will keep that hair looking fab while getting your workout on. It won’t slip while working out. I have one of these and it’s great.
Beauty tip number 3.
After the gym, make sure you grab a loofa and scrub your back in the shower to avoid bacne. I swear it’s one of the most dreaded side effects of working out. Ulta has a foaming sugar scrub you can get in one of six different scents for $9.
What do you think about my beauty tips for working out? As always, all products mentioned are budget friendly at less than $10. You can probably spend less than $20 for all three. Here’s to a more beautiful you in 2013!
